The Hotel Concept:
The idea behind The Menjangan was – like all good ideas – simple: to create the perfect nature retreat located in one of the most beautiful yet least visited parts of the wonderful island of Bali. The concept was to work in harmony with nature to establish an intimate boutique hideaway where guests can escape the outside world and share the natural beauty of Bali with their partners, families and friends.
The resort is relaxed, casual and quiet, with the emphasis on restoring calm and simplicity to stressed minds and bodies, both on land in the forests of the West Bali National Park and under the waves along our world-class coral reefs.

Facilities:
For added convenience, the hotel also provides, a swimming pool, a lounge,  laundry services and a 24-hour front desk.

Activities:
One of the highlights of a stay here will be to do an early-morning bird walk, where there is a chance of seeing the very rare Bali starling. The bird guide, Pak Putu, is excellent. Another highlight is going for a horse ride along the beach, if tide allows. Activities offered here include snorkelling, trekking, biking trips, night fauna walks, kayaking and cooking classes.

Rooms:
There are three types of accommodation, all of which have very large rooms and bathrooms, as well as Wi-Fi access, tea and coffee-making facilities and an array of locally made toiletries.
Elegantly decorated, rooms at Menjangan equipped with a flat-screen TV, DVD player, minibar and tea/coffee making facilities. A personal safe and toiletries are also included.

Eat & Drink:
Bali Tower Restaurant serves authentic Balinese and Mediterranean cuisines. Vegetarian dishes are also available. The beachside Pantai Restaurant specialises in fresh seafood barbecue. Drinks can be enjoyed at the hotel’s lounge.
